Luma, the other protagonist of Fade to Dust.
She's a willing recruit of the Blinding Knights, and order dedicated to the goddess of Light. What she WASN'T willing to do was allow a sentient and fanatical suit of armor made of solidified light to share control of her body. Whereas most knights willing allow the armor to take partial control of thier body, being fanatics themselves, Luma takes after her uncle and prefers to think through her decisions and beliefs. The armor dislikes this, and struggles accordingly.
