Artist's Comments
The first of the conceptual title pages I'm drawing for the three or four non-dreamaniac ideas floating around in my brain.
Synopsis: Fade to Dust A tragic romantic story taking place in a fantasy world. This world is split between two massive factions: The Shamanistic Tribes, who are deeply connected to the natural forces and substances of the world; and The Ideals, who are devoted to concepts, ideas, and concepts that are abstract or metaphorical. The protagonists are a male shaman and a female Ideal Knight. Led through the forces of nature and Light, respectively, they make peaceful contact and resolve to learn more about each other and attempt to bring peace to the two factions, who are almost constantly at war. In the process, they fall in love, but events tear them apart forcibly. Many years later, they meet once again, this time on the battlefield. Comments, thoughts, and opinions welcome.
